If there is one thing I know it is that the Vescapades family is flexible. We can go with the flow. So, when our New Year's Eve plans changed at the last minute, we were up for the challenge.
We had planned to go out with our friends, but their youngest daughter ended up with a case of the stomach flu. The one night they find an overnight babysitter, and their kid gets sick. It figures, right? No worries here. We decided that a repeat of last year's festivities was in order. So, we rented a bunch of movies, bought a bunch of snacks, and settled in for family movie night.
We spent the afternoon painting ceramics at Paint Yourself Silly. All the kids painted a new cup for use in the bathroom for brushing teeth. I will post some photos after they are fired in the kiln and ready for their debut.
We started the evening's festivities with supper in our hotel lobby.

We watched The Croods first. Everyone stayed awake. The Wolverine was next, and we lost Soren about an hour in. Next came Man of Steel; Evelyn passed out. The boys, Colby, and I all made it to midnight. And at 12:10am we all went to bed. The End.
