This is the last week of school before Winter Break, and the kids couldn't be more excited. Mom, on the other hand, isn't exactly thrilled about 3 weeks of boys home from school. At least in the summertime they can ride their bikes and play outside. If our arctic weather has anything to do with it, I will have 3 weeks of nonstop noise and craziness inside.
In anticipation of winter vacation, I am officially asking any and all volunteers to take one or more children for a few days over break. My oldest three will pretty much go anywhere with anyone, especially if there are chips or ice cream sandwiches involved. My stepmom has already volunteered, thank goodness. She at least has a big enough house that if you dump all the kids in the basement you can't hear them from upstairs.
On a lighter note, Brody and Evelyn played America's Next Top Model last night. Evelyn was the model, and Brody was the designer.

Oh heck, if the standard is just chips and ice cream, then I'm qualified to take two :). Send the boys (I once threw a sleepover party for 8 boys....surely three aren't so bad?).
Logistics are your problem.
Three week break? That's just crazy.
