Colby and the kids carved pumpkins, and I roasted the seeds. You can see in the photo that Brody had drawn up some designs, but we decided to go with a simple ghost and skeleton. We didn't think the Spongebob he designed would be very easy for novice carvers.
Of course the cats were more than happy to spend the lazy day doing what they do best: laying someplace where they could easily be stepped on or trip someone.
